Measure and mark a line 3 ½" from top end of middle pole (5). Note: Avoid scratching the paint on the pole. While
maintaining alignment, bounce middle pole section (5) into top section (4) using a wood scrap as shown until the top
pole is aligned with the marked line on the middle pole.
You should have 3 1/2" of overlap when properly assembled.
