appropriate knowledge, unless they are

the unit is to be operated. Children
should be supervised to ensure that they
do not play with the device.
Improper use of the product
All applications carried out with the
device that are not listed in the „Proper
use" chapter will be considered improp-
er use.
The unit may not be used for the follow-
ing purposes:
• S awing firewood
• P rocessing materials containing
asbestos or other hazardous sub-
stances
• U se as a transportable or stationary
unit
There is a risk of injury.
The user of the device is liable for all
property and personal damages occur-
ring as the result of incorrect use.
If other components or non­original
components are used with the machine,
the manufacturer guarantee is voided.

Remaining risks
Even when the device is used properly,
there is a residual risk that cannot be
excluded. The following potential dan-
gers are inherent in the type and con-
struction of the device:
• C ontact with the unprotected part of
the saw blade (cuts)
• C ontact with flying parts of a saw
blade in the event that it breaks (cuts)
• K ickback from flying work piece parts
(bumps)
• L oss of hearing if the required ear
defenders are not used during work
(loss of hearing)
• C ontact with electrical current due to
defect or sawn feed cable, motor
housing (electrical shock)
• H azardous emissions caused by saw-
dust
If the instructions in your operating
instructions are not observed, incorrect
use may result in other residual risks.
