ASSEMBLING THE BASE STATION

Attach the base station to the rear of the fax machine.

Then raise the base station slightly in order to insert the
two upper hooks.
After securing the base station to the rear of the fax
machine, connect the cable from the base station to the
socket on the fax machine (Figure 1).

REGISTERING A HANDSET WITH A BASE STATION
When supplied, the handset is already registered with the base station. You may require to re-register your
handset or assign other telephones.

On the fax machine, press MENU, 8, 8 and OK.

On the handset that is to be registered with the base station, press OK, then 6.

When the handset is registered, its number will be shown on the display in the form
-HANDSET No.-.
CANCELLING THE REGISTRATION (DEREGISTRATION) OF A HANDSET WITH A BASE STATION

On the fax machine, press MENU, 8, 9 and OK.
Š
Enter the number of the handset that is to be deleted.
Š
init = F6 appears in the display if the handset is not registered with any other base station.
