AC voltage measurement

The rotary switch is set to V again, in addition the
AC/DC key is pressed, now AC instead of DC is dis-
played. Measuring takes place by automatic range
selection.
It is also possible to switch over to manual range
selection with the range key and "to freeze in" with
the HOLD key.
The max. admissible voltage at the test tips is
750 V AC peak for 10 seconds.
Attention!
The AC/DC key is mechanically locking in. Watch
that it is released again after the measurement,
otherwise for all following measurements always
AC remains preselected.
Attention High Current!
For permanent measuring of DC and AC currents of
up to 10 A the cross sections of the measuring
cables and plug-in connections of this multimeter
are not sufficient. Therefore these measurements
should only be carried out for a very short time
(max. 10-15 seconds).
Furthermore in case of very high currents the
resistance of the cables can lead to incorrect meas-
urements.

DC current measurement

For current measurements use the mA and 10 A po-
sitions at the rotary switch. There is no auto range
mode, the correct range must manually be chosen
(The display shows MANU). The AC/DC key must
not be locked in.
For currents above 400 mA up to 10 A set the ro-
tary switch to the 10 A position, furthermore also the
