The LCD multifunction display shows the meas-
uring values and a variety of further information like
e. g. operating mode and range. The multimeter is
only set to the suitable operating mode, the neces-
sary range is automatically selected by the multimeter
itself. An automatically selected range can be held or
the ranges can manually be switched further on.
Approx. 30 minutes after the last measurement
the multimeter automatically switches off after an
acoustic warning.
In the auto range mode the multimeter allows
DC and AC voltage measurements, frequency,
capacitance, and resistance measurements. With-
out auto range selection furthermore DC and AC
current measurements are possible as well as

diode testing and continuity checking with buzzer.
For currents of more than 400 mA a special sepa-
