Initial start-up

A dry run of the pump(s) must be avoided without fail. Tip: Before connecting the mains voltage, fill
the wastewater container with water so that the pump(s) cannot run dry if they should be switched on
accidentally (e.g. incorrect connection of a level sensor).

Connecting the battery

Connect the battery plug <74>.
Connecting the mains voltage
Supply the control unit with mains voltage; the initialization will
then begin. While the LEDs light up for approx. 4 seconds, the
electrical components are checked, the battery for the power
outage message is activated and the 0.1. Language menu is
displayed. The initialization procedure can then be carried out.
If the initialization option (0.1. Language menu) is not
available in the display, the control unit has already been initialized. In this case, the set parameters
must be checked or the factory settings must be restored (see 3.5 / Item 3.8 Reset in Section 7.1). After the
factory settings are restored, the option to initialize the control unit is offered automatically.
Please note that the counter for the maintenance interval is not taken into account in the event of a reset.

Performing initialization

During initialization, the following entries are expected:
- Language
- Date/time
- Sensor configure
- Performance size
- Maintenance date (optional entry)
Language
• Press OK
• Select the national language with the arrow keys and confirm with OK; the Date/Time menu is displayed.
Date/Time
• Set each respective flashing figure in the date and time and confirm with OK. After the final entry, the Sensor
configure menu appears.
Sensor configure
• Press OK
Select the type of the connected sensors with the arrow keys and confirm with OK; the Performance size
menu is displayed.
