SELECTION GUIDE TO THE CORRECT INSTALLATION

4.1 Hydraulic connection

For MMW model, install an expansion vessel of at least 8 liters to protect the system against water
hammer and to avoid continuous restart of pump in case of small leaks in the system. For MMA
model, install an expansion vessel of at least 20 liters. Vessel have to be pre-loaded with air at a
pressure of 0.8 x pressure value set in the inverter. The precharge is performed with no water in the
vessel.
Recommendations:
Install AQUONTROLLER near the pump; if mounted directly on the pump check that there

are no harmful vibrations.
For the MMW model, the dimensions of pipes must be no less than the diameter of
o
AQUONTROLLER hydraulic connection.
Insert a cartridge filter to protect the hydraulic system and possible AQUONTROLLER
o
(model MMW) from solid parts in the liquid pumped.
For the MMW model, install valves before and after the inverter in case the inverter has to
o
be removed form the system.
