1 GENERAL PRECAUTIONS

DANGER
- AQUONTROLLER is CE-labelled but in the event of incorrect installation it can
cause electromagnetic interference.
Check other electronic devices (such as telephones, faxes, automatic gates,
medical devices, home automation devices in general...) operate correctly with
AQUONTROLLER on and running.
Equipment malfunctions can harm people and damage property.
In the event of electromagnetic interference, contact technical support and stop the
plant.
- AQUONTROLLER MMW cannot be used on pipes containing abrasive liquids,
fibrous solid substances or inflammable liquids or explosives.
- Do not perform operations with AQUONTROLLER open.
- AQUONTROLLER must be connected to the electrical panel by qualified personnel
according to current norms. AQUONTROLLER must be protected by adequate
preliminary fuse.
- AQUONTROLLER must be connected to an efficient grounding system.
- Before working on the unit, make sure that the AQUONTROLLER has been
disconnected from the power supply.
In the event of a fault, disconnect or switch off the power supply.
Before performing repairs on the AQUONTROLLER wait at least 5 minutes to
allow the capacitor to discharge.
Danger of electrocution, burning or death if this precaution is not observed.
WARNINGS
- AQUONTROLLER must be installed in closed, ventilated and safe environments
and used with non-aggressive water with a maximum temperature of + 40° C and a
minimum temperature of + 4° .
- Lowara declines all liability for any damage caused by the improper or prohibited
use of AQUONTROLLER.
- The appliance must be installed in frostproof and weatherproof areas.
- It must be installed as near as possible to the electric pump.
- Make sure the electric pump has been perfectly primed before installing
AQUONTROLLER.
- Install a small expansion chamber (8l for AQUONTROLLER MMW – 20l for
AQUONTROLLER MMA) and a sampling valve in the delivery side of the inverter.
All installation and maintenance work must be performed by suitably trained
and qualified staff using suitable instruments! Staff must use suitable
protective equipment.

This manual sets out to provide the necessary information for the installation, use and maintenance
of AQUONTROLLER.
It is important for the user and/or installer to read this manual before installing and using the product.
Improper use can generate faults and invalidate the warranty.
If technical information or spare parts are required, quote the exact code identifying the model to our
sales and assistance service.
