Recordings can't be saved
• Insert a memory card.
• Check the write-protect tab of the memory card. In some cheap memory cards, the tab is either so smooth or large
that it is inadvertently pressed when inserting the memory card into the slot of the monitor/DVR.
• Is the memory card full? Insert a new, empty memory card or move the contents of the memory card to the computer
hard drive.
• If necessary, enable automatic overwriting in the memory card

• To format the memory card, use the respective function in the memory card menu. The monitor/DVR only supports
FAT and FAT32 file formats (NTFS is not supported).
The IR remote control does not work
• When using it for the first time, remove the small transparent protective strip from the battery compartment and pull
it out completely.
• Replace the battery, observing the correct polarity when inserting it.
• Aim the small transparent LED on the front of the IR remote control at the IR receiver (1) on the front of the monitor/
DVR. The range is typically several metres.
Image quality of recordings is poor
• Adjust the quality in the recording settings menu accordingly.
The recording is black and white.
• At night-time, the IR LEDs turn on and recordings are made in black and white. This is not a malfunction.
