9. Functions

a) Power ON/OFF

Press the POWER button (7) on the monitor/DVR to turn it on or off.
Only the display is deactivated when the POWER button (7) is pressed. The monitor/DVR still operates
internally.
The power indicator (8) will remain on even when the power is off, indicating that the monitor is supplied
with power.

b) Entering/exiting the OSD menu

• To enter the OSD menu, press the MENU button (2) on the monitor/DVR or on the IR remote control.
• To exit the OSD menu, press the ESC button (6) on the monitor/DVR or on the IR remote control.

c) Switching the camera channel, dual mode

• To select the desired camera channel, press the
control.
• The camera channels can also be selected directly with the CH1 (11), CH2 (12), and DUAL (14) (both channels are
displayed simultaneously) buttons on the IR remote control.
The display shows the active channel number.

d) Starting/stopping the recording

When a video recording is in progress, the display shows the REC indicator flashing in its upper right-hand
corner.
A recording is divided into different recording files. The length of the respective recording files can be set in
the OSD menu.
If the memory card is full, the oldest files will be overwritten or the recording will stop as soon as the
memory card is full, depending on the settings in the OSD menu.
Manually starting/stopping a recording
This function is available only when manual recording is enabled in the OSD menu.
To start or stop the video recording, press the REC button (3) on the monitor/DVR or the REC/STOP button (13) on
the IR remote control.
Automatic recording
This function is available only when automatic recording is enabled in the OSD menu.
Recording starts as soon as the monitor/DVR is turned on.
