1. DESCRIPTION
The internal video unit 10-570 from the Niko Access Control range is always part of a system comprising one or more external units and a power
supply.
The internal video unit 10-570 allows you to:
• open a door
• make a call
• see a visitor
• deactivate the ring tone
• switch the lighting on/off
• call up camera images
• ...
The image and call settings can be changed by using the display menus. Control of the device occurs via the touch-sensitive keys.

Function keys and LEDs
• Opens the door and ends the communication 4 seconds later – standard setting.
• Switches the light relay when a call has not yet been started.
Begin and end a call by pressing briefly.
Switches off the ring tone. The red LED lights up.
Displays the camera image and pages through the available camera images.
Transmit control function 8 to operate relay 10-831.
Call up the menu.
Via the menu, the following functions can be controlled:
• making 10 different internal calls
• transmitting control functions 8, 9 or 10 to operate a relay
• switching the light contact of the power supply (10-80x) (standard function)
• activating the "ring-and-come-in" function
• activating the call diversion
• programming the internal unit in parallel, as SLAVE, on another internal unit
• changing the sound and image settings
• disabling audible feedback when the keys are touched
• changing the ring tone for calls from various external units, an internal call or a floor call.

3. INSTALLATION
Cabling
The internal video unit 10-570 requires 6-wire cabling with a twisted cable for optimal image quality.
The diameter of the wires determines the maximum distance allowable between the power supply and the internal video unit.

• The above-mentioned maximum distances are only valid if only one appliance is activated. If 2 monitors are working in parallel on one cable, halve
the maximum distance. If there are 3 monitors, divide the distance by 3, etc.
• Up to 6 monitors (line-in and line-out) can be connected. To connect more than 6 monitors or for star wiring, use video splitters. Each output of a
video splitter can be connected to 6 more monitors.
