4. STARTING THE DEVICE

Disconnect all power before installing the internal unit. Do not connect the device to the mains voltage until installation has been completed.
- When connecting the video signal, V1(+) and V2(-), keep in mind the polarity.
- Check for a short circuit between a, b and P before connecting the installation to the mains.

5.1. Calling a resident ... by typing in the first letter of his/her name

After installation to the mains, the following screen will appear after 5 s:
30 s after switching on, the start screen will appear. The external unit is ready for operation.
Keypad module
• Press to view the help menu.
• Press again to select the first letter of the resident.
• Press and until the right first letter appears.
• Press to confirm your selection.
• Press and until the right name appears.
