propEdaLFLOATRP23
ProPedal minimizes pedal-induced bob on a full-suspension bicycle.
Found on the RP23 FOX shock.
The ProPedal lever (above left) has 2 positions: PROPEDAL and OPEN.
OPEN provides the most plush ride, and might be used for a descent.
PROPEDAL, in conjunction with the knob minimizes pedal-induced bob.
To adjust the ProPedal knob: Place the ProPedal lever in the PROPEDAL
position, then lift the knob, turn to the desired setting, the push
back down into its new position.

PROPEDAL
ProPedal minimizes pedal-induced bob on a full-suspension bicycle.
Bottom-out resistance varies the compression damping at the end
of the shock's travel from slightly progressive to a very progressive
rate.
Do not adjust the bottom-out resistance with more than 125 psi in
the Boost Valve (piggyback reservoir air valve).
ProPedal is found on DHX 5.0 & 4.0 and DHX AIR 5.0 & 4.0.
Bottom-out resistance adjust is found on DHX 5.0 & DHX AIR 5.0.
There are 15 clicks of ProPedal adjustment. Turn the dial fully
counterclockwise for LIGHT ProPedal, fully clockwise for FIRM
ProPedal.
There are 3 rotations of adjustment on the Bottom-Out Resistance
knob, with 3 indicator lines on the reservoir. The knob is best turned
with a 4mm hex key.
Use this diagram to orient the controls shown in the rear shock drawings above. Knob control directions are
relative to looking at the knob straight on.
BOTTOM-OUT
RESISTANCE
propEdaLFLOATRP2
Used to control pedal-induced bob on a
full-suspension bicycle.
Found on the RP2 FOX Shox.
The ProPedal lever has 2 positions:
PROPEDAL and OPEN, as shown above.
Ride your bike and switch between
positions. Select the position that reduces
suspension movement most effectively.

RP2/R
VANILLA R
Rebound controls the speed at which the shock
extends after compression.
There are 9 clicks of adjustment on FLOAT shocks
with rebound adjust; approximately 15 clicks on
DHX, VAN R & VANILLA; and approximately 22
clicks on DHX AIR.
Turn clockwise† (CW) for SLOWER rebound; turn
counterclockwise† (CCW) for FASTER rebound.
The correct amount of rebound is a personal
preference. However, you don't want so fast that it
bounces you off your saddle, nor so slow that your
shock isn't able to recover in time to absorb the
next bump.
