FOX rear shocks contain a nitrogen charge. Do not pry out the white acetal (plastic) plug at the eyelet end
of the shock. The charged portion of the shock should only be opened by a FOX Racing Shox technician.
Opening a nitrogen pressurized shock can be dangerous and can result in serious injury or death.
»
On air shocks, the portion of the shock charged with nitrogen does not need to be opened to perform
air sleeve service.
»
Never attempt to pull apart, open, disassemble or service a shock if it is compressed or has not returned
(will not return) to its original neutral length (with no load on the shock). This can result in serious injury or
death. Search the term "stuck down" in the enclosed CD-ROM owner's manual for more information.
»
Detailed safety information is contained in the attached CD-ROM (if this booklet does not have an
attached CD-ROM, contact FOX Racing Shox to obtain one). You can also access the owner's manual at
www.foxracingshox.com.
