PROTECTION OF THE ENVIRONMENT

• Recycle packaging materials and old appliances; do not throw them away.
• You can dispose of the appliance packing box at a sorted waste collection point.
• Deliver plastic polyethylene (PE) bags to a waste collection facility for recycling.
Recycling of the appliance at the end of its service life:
A symbol on the product or its packaging indicates that this product should not be disposed of as household
waste. It should be delivered to a waste collection facility for recycling of electrical and electronic appliances.
By the proper disposal of the appliance, you can help prevent negative effects on the environment and
human health that might otherwise result from inappropriate disposal of this appliance. You can learn more
about recycling this appliance from your local authorities, a household waste disposal service, or in the shop
where you bought this appliance.
Disposal of accumulators and battery cells
If an appliance contains an accumulator or a battery cell, these components contain substances that may
damage the environment when decomposing. Prior to the appliance disposal or replacement of a battery,
the original component should be removed and deposited in a suitable collection point.
WARNING!
An accumulator or a battery cell:
• Never throw it into a fire!
• Never disassemble it!
• Never short-circuit its terminals!
Be careful when the accumulator is damaged and leaks; the accumulator electrolyte solution is of an alkali
nature. If your skin is stained, rinse it immediately with soap and water and seek medical advice.
