"Abzweig" gestellt, so wird das Signal 4601
gleichzeitig auf Hp2 ("Langsamfahrt") ge-
schaltet. Beim Stellen der Weiche auf "Gera-
de" geht dementsprechend das Signal 4600
auf Hp1 ("Fahrt"). Über den Schaltkontakt
stellt der fahrende Zug das jeweilige Signal
automatisch wieder zurück auf Hp0 ("Halt").
Dieses Symbol neben dem Gleis kennzeich-
net eine elektrische Trennstelle (z.B. mit Iso-
lierschienenverbindern) an der gekennzeich-
neten Gleisseite. Bei Märklin-Gleisen ent-
spricht dieses einer Mittelleiter-Trennstelle.
Das obenstehende Symbol kennzeichnet ei-
ne Leitungsverbindung. Die sich hier kreu-
zenden Leitungen müssen an einer beliebi-
gen Stelle ihres Verlaufs elektrisch leitend
miteinander in Verbindung stehen. Der Ver-
bindungspunkt muss nicht exakt an der ein-
gezeichneten Stelle sitzen, sondern kann
z.B. zu einem Stecker an einer der kreuzen-
den Leitungen verlagert werden.
Dieses Symbol kennzeichnet einen zugbe-
tätigten Schaltkontakt, z.B. einen Reed-
Viessmann
(Magnet-) Kontakt ( 6840) oder
ein Schaltgleis.

signal 4601 will show automatically the Hp2
aspect (" proceed at reduced speed "). If you
set the turnout to the "straight on" direction,
the 4600 will show the Hp1 aspect ("pro-
ceed"). When the train passes the track con-
tact, the semaphore signals are switched
back to Hp0 ("stop") automatically.
This sign next to the track designates an
electrical track insulation (e.g. with insulating
track connectors) at the marked side of the
track. For Marklin tracks, this is a third rail
insulation .
The symbol above designates a cable
connection. The cables that cross here must
be in electrical contact with each other at
some point along their length. The
connection point does not have to be exactly
at the marked point, but rather can be moved
to a plug located at one of the crossing
cables.
This symbol is used for a train controlled mo-
mentary switching contact like a reed (mag-
