Für einen vollständig funktionierenden Block-
betrieb sind mindestens drei solcher Blöcke
notwendig. Dann können zwei Züge entspre-
chend gesichert verkehren. Für jeden zu-
sätzlichen Zug ist jeweils eine weitere Block-
stelle erforderlich.
Zusätzlich zu den zugbetätigten Schaltkon-
takten sollte ein Taster für den manuellen
Betrieb vorgesehen werden. Dieses ist
sinnvoll, damit ein Block wieder freigegeben
werden kann, der durch einen von der
Anlage heruntergenommenen Zug blockiert
ist. Der Anschlussplan für eine Blockstelle ist
in Bild 4 dargestellt.
Dieses Symbol neben dem Gleis kennzeich-
net eine elektrische Trennstelle (z.B. mit Iso-
lierschienenverbindern) an der gekennzeich-
neten Gleisseite. Bei Märklin-Gleisen ent-
spricht dieses einer Mittelleiter-Trennstelle.
Das obenstehende Symbol kennzeichnet ei-
ne Leitungsverbindung. Die sich hier kreu-
zenden Leitungen müssen an einer beliebi-
gen Stelle ihres Verlaufs elektrisch leitend
miteinander in Verbindung stehen. Der Ver-
bindungspunkt muss nicht exakt an der ein-
gezeichneten Stelle sitzen, sondern kann
z.B. zu einem Stecker an einer der kreuzen-
den Leitungen verlagert werden.
Dieses Symbol kennzeichnet einen zugbe-
tätigten Schaltkontakt, z.B. einen Reed-
Viessmann
(Magnet-) Kontakt ( 6840) oder
ein Schaltgleis.

convenient to make a block free which was
occupied by a train you have taken away.
The connection of one block is shown in fi-
gure 4.
This sign next to the track designates an
electrical track insulation (e.g. with insulating
track connectors) at the marked side of the
track. For Marklin tracks, this is a third rail
insulation .
The symbol above designates a cable
connection. The cables that cross here must
be in electrical contact with each other at
some point along their length. The
connection point does not have to be exactly
at the marked point, but rather can be moved
to a plug located at one of the crossing
cables.
This symbol is used for a train controlled mo-
mentary switching contact like a reed (mag-
