Warning instructions: Prior to use, sterilize the tick tweezers with alcohol or
clean them with a disinfectant, in order to eliminate the risk of a – relatively improbable –
infection from the tick tweezers. Ticks should only be removed by adults.
If any of the tick's mouthpiece remains in the skin after the tick has been removed, please con-
sult your doctor.
Medical information: Tick bites can cause dangerous medical complications. Therefore, if
you are bitten by a tick, consult your doctor. In areas known to have a high risk of tick infection,
it is highly recommended that you obtain a vaccination against early summer meningoenceph-
alitis (TBE). If you have a tick bite that results in a migrating red spot around the bite that con-
tinues to increase in size, please contact your doctor immediately.
After the tick has been removed, the affected area should always be disinfected. This can be
done with alcohol-based disinfectants, such as Sterillium®.
Limintation of reuse preparation: No special requirements
Instructions
Workstation: Remove dirt accumulation on outer surface with a disposable cloth.
Storage and transport: In order to avoid dirt accumulation or dust, always store the
tick tweezers in their packaging.
Cleaning preparation: No special requirements.
Manual cleaning: Surface disinfectants and/or cleaning agents, i.e. with pure alcohol or
helipur.
