Replacement of the "H" filter
While doing the following activities, try not to
whirl the dust more than necessary.
Use a P2-respirator.
o
Switch the machine OFF and wait approx.
5 minutes: let the dust whirling in the vessel
settle down. Open the closing clamps,
dismount the upper section of the vacuum
cleaner, and put it aside with the filter
upside.
o
Turn the filter basket counterclockwise and
dismount it (Fig.4).
o
Roll the protective filtration bag over the filter
(Fig.5).

Cause
The mains circuit-breaker has switched
off
Reaction by the protection against

The hose diameter does not comply with
the position of the switch
Clogged suction hose/nozzle

rim, between the upper section of the
vacuum cleaner and the waste vessel

Dirty filter
The vessel is full/the float has closed the
suction hole
Too high feeding impedance
Remove the filter carefully and close the
protective bag (tie a knot).
Insert a new filter.
Check the function of the float. While turning
the filtration basket the inserted float should
move slightly (Fig. 6).
Push the filtration basket in and fix it in the
proper position by turning clockwise (Fig.7).
Liquidate the used filter in compliance with
legal provisions.
Never use the vacuum cleaner without
the filter!
Remedy
Switch on the circuit-breaker
Switch the vacuum cleaner OFF, wait for
approx. 5 minutes. If it is impossible to
start the vacuum cleaner even after,
contact the service shop PROTOOL.
Ask for replacement of the carbons in an
authorized service shop PROTOOL.
Check the function of the electric tools,
or push the plug in the socket
properly
Keep the minimum input P >40 W
Set the suction power according to the
paragraph Suction Power Regulation
Match the position of the switch and the
hose diameter
Clean the suction hose/nozzle
Clean the gasket/renew the gasket
Replace the safety filtration bag
Clean the filter or replace the filter
Switch the machine OFF, empty the
vessel
Connect the machine in another socket
that is closer to the fuse box. If the
impedance at the transfer point is

0,15 , voltage fluctuation should not
go beyond 7%
