4. Install one slide assembly on the right rack mounting rails, and the other slide
assembly on the left rack mounting rails.
For each slide assembly, complete the following steps:
a. Push the runners completely into each slide assembly.
b. With the help of an assistant, position the slide assembly on the inside of the
rack enclosure with the short bracket facing the front of the rack.
c. Align the holes in the brackets on the slide assembly with the appropriate
holes in the front and rear mounting rails of the rack.
d. Secure the slide bracket assembly to the front and rear mounting rails using
three #10 SEMS panhead screws for each bracket.
Do not tighten the screws completely.
Note – If you are installing in a 68-inch rack, use the supplied #10 flathead screws,
lock washers, and flat washers instead of the #10 SEMS screws.
