Deskside Server
If you are preparing a deskside server to be rackmounted, you need to:
Remove the side access panel from the chassis—page 1-8
Remove the plastic side panels from the chassis—page 1-10
Install the rack-ready side access panel—page 1-11
Remove any bottom hardware (foot glides or optional casters)—page 1-13
Attach the inner glides and the stop bracket to the chassis—page 1-14
Removing the Side Access Panel
1. Power off the system.

2. Remove the security lock block, if present.
