grid.
The correct commissioning procedure has to be ensured.
Please strongly follow the commissioning procedure.
1. The secondary circuit with potable water and the instant-
taneous water heater has to be commissioned first.
Therefore open the ball valve at connection II (green) first.
Next, open and close the hot water taping valve several
times until no more air emerges from the line and all air has
been eliminated from the instantaneous water heater. (In
case of after works on the water installation, after servicing
or repair the procedure has to be repeated).
2. Next the primary circle has tas to be filled and vented.
Therefore please open the ball valves on the primary side
(connection III, blue and IV,red). Then open the air vent of
the fresh water station unit, until all air has disappeared,
then preliminary close the air vent (Fig.3). Until this point
neither the fresh water and the instantaneous hot water unit
is connected on electricty line.
3. ATTENTION: Before the 230V electric connection of the
fresh water station a hot water tapping should run. This is
obligatory if the buffer tank temperature is higher than 70°C
to avoid damages of the system. At the moment of the
electric connection (230V plug) of the fresh water unit a
purging program is starting to remove any air inclusion in
the fresh water station unit. At this mode the pumpgroup of
the fresh water ation unit is running at 100% for up to 60
seconds. After the purging program and in frequent inter-
vals vent the air at the fresh waterstation unit and the top of
the buffer tank, to ensure that any enclosed air is removed
from the primary system.
4. Now the electrical connection (380 - 400V) of the direct
water unit can be performed. Please follow the instructions
from the following pages.
Selection of power rating
The rated capacity (maxpower consumption) is 27kW / 400V
and can be changed internally to 24kW, 21kW or 18kW.
(only by authorised specialist, otherwise lapse of guarantee).
Upon first connection of the appli-ance to the supply voltage,
select the maximum power rating. Only after having set the
power rating, the heater provides its standard operation mode.
The maximum allowable power rating at installation site
depends on the local situation. It is imperative to observe all
data shown in the table „Technical specifications", in particlar
the required cable size and fuse protection for the electrical
connection. Moreover, the electrical installation must comply
with the statutory regulations of the respective country and
those of the local electricity supply company (Germany: DIN
VDE 0100).
