• You are advised to wait for at least one hour before starting up
the refrigerator. This gives the cooling circuit time to fully set
up.
Safety and maintenance (all models)
• Unplug the appliance before servicing or cleaning it in any way.
• Keep the appliance clean and its safety devices in good working
order at all times.
• Make sure the vents are never obstructed.
• Always execute the checks, inspections and maintenance set
down in this manual.
• Should your appliance malfunction, please contact your nearest
Vitrifrigo assistance centre; any maintenance must be executed
by a qualified technician.
C330 NEXT D and C420 NEXT D only:
• Never install the appliance in areas where the air may contain
gas, oil or sulphur fumes.
• Never install the appliance close to sources of heat.
• Keep the appliance at a distance of over 50 cm from flammable
substances or pressurised containers (e.g. spray cans).
• The area in which the appliance is installed must be suitably ven-
tilated, if possible. If the area in which an appliance containing
flammable refrigerant is used is not suitably ventilated, then it
