Warranty Conditions:
The manufacturer's warranty is void if: the use / maintenance is not carried out according to the rules aboveand / or if
spare parts used are not original parts.
The conditions of guarantee
The delivered pre-lacquered doors in RAL 9016 (thus, without option painting) are part of the standard warranty Novoferm
(see general conditions of sale). They must be a repainting within 3 months after installation. Experience shows that
this recommendation is rarely implemented and without damage to the aging of our products in the majority of cases.
However, non-repainting is a real risk particularly difficult area: exposure to salt air, road salt area ... Compliance with
this recommendation determines the implementation of the guarantee Novoferm.
Compliance with this recommendation determines the application of our warranty and non-compliance, especially in
difficult areas (exposure to salt air ...) is a risk Novoferm will not cover under any circumstances.
Control of the aspect
Conditions of the examination: the observer will have to be situated at least 1m 50 of the door and examine it during a
duration of 10 seconds with a normal view under a significant lighting ( slightly covered sky).
Warranty Exclusions:
•
Use of the product in a context or for a use different from that advocated by Novoferm (typically using an individual
door for collective use ...).
•
The blemishes visible unreported upon delivery of the product.
•
The absence of the protection of origin of the door, or its degradation during the construction site.
•
The failure to respect the prescriptions of installation of Novoferm and the rules of the art on the subject.
•
The absence of maintenance or an maintenance non-corresponding to the recommendations of Novoferm.
•
The exposure to aggressive acid or detergent products of caustic type used in the course of construction site (acid
muriatique for example) or during the life of the product.
•
The works of modification of the product made without preliminary explicit agreement of Novoferm.
•
Housing paint and / or surface treatments do not comply with the requirements of Novoferm or defective or made
too late,
•
Disorders resulting from exceptional weather conditions.
•
Inadequate maintenance of the door with the local climatic conditions (absence of regular cleaning of doors in
exposed coastal areas, for example ...).
Disassembly:
Do not entrust the removal of doors only qualified installers.
Please read carefully before attempting removal.
Caution: Do not lift or handle the doors by the springs.
Tools needed for disassembly:
•
Hammers, chisels, wrench or socket wrench 10 and 13.
•
Loosen with a chisel the ground of the garage in the zone of the threshold of the door so that the amounts of door
frame, and possibly the threshold, are freed(released). In the absence of threshold, fix the arms of lever to the
amounts of door frame.
•
Lock the door.
•
Prevent the door from falling.
•
Unscrew the fastening tabs of the wall, lintel.
•
Unscrew the anchors of the frame.
•
Prevent rails from falling.
•
Remove the fixing of guide rails.
•
Remove the slides.
•
Fold the guide rails.
•
Remove the door opening.
