4.3.3 Cabinet Static Pressure
Once the inlet is initially set in accordance with Section 4.1.5, it rarely needs
readjustment. The initial setting creates a static pressure of approximately 50% to 75% in
the cabinet enclosure. If readjustment is nevertheless necessary, open the throttle valve
on the dust collector further to decrease pressure, or close the throttle valve further to
increase static pressure.
4.3.4 Door Interlocks
The door interlock disables the blasting control circuit when the door is open. It is
located on the gas-pressurized spring on the right hand side of the cabinet, which holds the
door closed. To enable blasting, the door interlock switch must be engaged when the door
is closed. The interlock is set at the factory and does not usually require Àeld adjustment
unless parts are replaced.
ATTENTION!
Never attempt to override the interlock system.
Doing so could result in injury from unexpected blasting.
To adjust the actuator, bend it by hand so that it engages the interlock switch when
the door is fully closed.
