Handsfree Operation, Switch Off the Microphone

You can switch on the loudspeaker installed for handsfree operation. You can
then hear your caller's amplified voice and you can speak with him or her.
You may switch off the microphone on your handset whilst telephoning. The
handset remains switched on. Your call partner cannot hear you, but you can
hear him.
Switching on the loudspeaker for handsfree operation
You are speaking on the handset.
R
To switch on the handsfree loudspeaker: Press R key for a long
period. appears in the display.
Switching off the handsfree loudspeaker
You are speaking on the handset. The conversation will be amplified
by the handsfree loudspeaker.
R To switch off the loudspeaker: Press R key for a long period.
Switching off the microphone (mute)
You are speaking on the handset.
To switch off microphone: Press key 1 for a long period.

Reactivating the microphone
The microphone is switched off.
To switch on microphone: Press key 1 for a long period. You may

continue telephoning now.
At the end of the call, the handsfree loudspeaker will be switched off

automatically and the microphone will be switched on again automatically.
If you place your handset in the charger during a call, handsfree
operation will be switched on automatically.
