Fruit cake
Only use the strip beaters to prepare this recipe. If your mixer comes
with wire beaters, you can order strip beaters from your Philips dealer.
Ingredients:

200g dried dates, stoned and halved

470g prunes, halved

50g almonds

50g walnuts

50g raisins
-
50g sultanas
-
460g wholegrain rye flour

100g wheat flour
-
300g honey
-
a pinch of salt

16g baking powder

500g buttermilk

Cut the dates, prunes, almonds and walnuts in small pieces.
Put the dates, prunes, almonds, walnuts, raisins, sultanas,100g wheat
flour and 460g wholegrain rye flour in a bowl.
Pour the buttermilk into the bowl and insert the strip beaters into
the mixer.

Press the turbo button to mix the ingredients for 0 seconds.

Set the speed control to '0' and let the mixer cool down to room
temperature before you use it again.

Bake the fruitcake in a 0cm-long baking tin at 170°C for 50-60
minutes.
