- Unwind the wire aerial attached to the receiver and slip it into
the plastic aerial sleeve.
- Push the aerial sleeve into the aerial socket as shown.

Connecting the unit, charging (drive battery and transmitter
batteries)
- 230 V mains operation: connect the mains plug to the 230 V
mains supply. Do not connect the crocodile clips to a 12 V
lead-acid battery.
- 12 V battery operation: connect the crocodile clips to the ter-
minals of a 12 V lead-acid battery.
- In this case do not connect the mains lead to the 230 V mains
supply.
- Maintain correct polarity (red = +, black = -).
- Connect the NC pack to the Tamiya plug on the charge cable
attached to the charger. The red NC LED should now light up.
If the battery is deep-discharged it may take several seconds
before the NC LED starts to glow.
- The rapid-charge process is terminated by the automatic cir-
cuit when the battery is full. At that point the charger switches
to a trickle charge current of about 100 mA. The NC LED flas-
hes. It is best to continue running the car until the battery is
completely discharged, and only then to recharge the pack.
- The integral charge cable is intended for charging the battery
inside the transmitter. The batteries can only be charged
when you are using the Lader 2 PLUS with the 230 V mains
supply.
- Switch off the transmitter and connect it to the charge
cable. The green TX LED will light up. Charge time of the
transmitter batteries: see instructions of the charger.
Safety notes
- Do not stand the charger and battery on a flammable surface,
and don't leave the battery on charge unsupervised.
- Protect the charger from damp.
- Do not leave the charger in direct sunshine. Do not cover the
charger.
- Use the unit only to charge rapid-charge batteries.
- Do not attempt to recharge a battery which is already warm or
hot. Allow the pack to cool down to ambient temperature first.
- Observe the instructions supplied by the battery manufacturer.

- Déployer l'antenne souple du récepteur et l'enfiler dans le
tube-guide d'antenne. Planter le tube-guide d'antenne dans
le pied de l'antenne.

Branchement et charge (accu du moteur et accus de l'é-
metteur)
- En mode secteur, 230 V: brancher la fiche dans une prise
230 V du secteur. Ne pas raccorder les pinces crocodile à
une batterie de voiture 12 volts.
- En mode 12 volts: accrocher les pinces crocodile aux pôles
d'une batterie de voiture 12 volts.
- Ne pas brancher la fiche dans une prise du secteur.
- Veiller absolument à la correction de la polarité (rouge =
plus/noir = moins).
- Raccorder l'accu Cd-Ni dans le connecteur Tamiya du char-
geur. La LED rouge NC s'allume.
- En présence d'un accu déchargé excessivement, cela peut
durer quelques secondes jusqu'à ce que la LED NC s'allu-
me.
- Lorsque l'accu est entièrement chargé, le dispositif d'arrêt
automatique en fin de charge coupe la charge rapide et déli-
vre un courant de maintien de la charge de 100 mA. La LED
NC clignote.
- Les accus doivent être systématiquement déchargés com-
plètement en marche avant d'être mis en charge.
- Le cordon de charge intégré au chargeur est destiné à la
charge des accus d'émission dans l'émetteur. La charge de
l'accu d'émission n'est possible qu'à partir du secteur,
230 volts.
- Raccorder l'émetteur coupé au raccord de charge du char-
geur. La LED verte Tx s'allume. Durée de chage: cf. la noti-
ce d'utilisation du chargeur.
Consignes de sécurité
- Ne pas exploiter le chargeur et l'accu sur une surface
inflammable et ne pas les laisser sans surveillance.
- Les protéger de l'humidité.
- Ne pas l'exploser au rayonnement solaire direct et ne jamais
couvrir l'appareil.
- N'utiliser que des accus à charge rapide.
- Ne pas mettre en charges des accus dont la température
est élevée. Les laisser refroidir à température ambiante.
- Tenir compte des instructions de mise en œuvre fournies
par le fabricant des accus.

Collegamento e ricarica (Batteria di alimentazione del
modello e batteria di alimentazione della trasmittente)
- Ricarica a 230 V: Collegare la spina del caricabatteria alla
presa di corrente da 230 V. Non collegare contemporane-
amente le clip a coccodrillo con una batteria al piombo da
12 V.
- Ricarica a 12 V: Collegare le clip a coccodrillo ai terminali
di una batteria al piombo da 12 V.
- Non collegare contemporaneamente la spina alla rete
elettrica da 230 V.
- Prestare attenzione alla polarità corretta (rosso = +, nero = -)
- Collegare la batteria di alimentazione del modello alla
spina tipo Tamiya del caricabatteria. Il LED rosso NC si illu-
mina.
- Se la batteria è eccessivamente scarica possono essere
necessari alcuni secondi prima che il LED NC si illumini.
- La procedura di ricarica rapida viene interrotta automati-
camente dall'apparecchio nel momento in cui la batteria è
carica. Da questo momento viene attivata una corrente di
mantenimento pari a ca. 100 mA. Il LED NC lampeggia.
- E' opportuno scaricare completamente la batteria durante
l'utilizzo dell'automodello prima di metterla sotto carica.
- L'altro cavo di carica è destinato alla ricarica delle batterie
della trasmittente. In questo caso è possibile soltanto ado-
perare la fonte di alimentazione a 230 Volt.
- Collegare la trasmittente (precedentemente spenta) con il
cavo per la ricarica. Il LED verde TX si illumina. Per conos-
cere i tempi necessari per la ricarica delle batterie della
trasmittente, consultare le istruzioni allegate al caricabat-
teria.
Norme per la sicurezza
- Non posizionare il caricabatteria e la batteria su superfici
infiammabili e non lasciarli incustoditi durante le fasi di
ricarica.
- Proteggere il caricabatteria e la batteria dall'umidità.
- Non porre l'apparecchio a diretto contatto con i raggi sola-
ri e non coprirlo.
- Utilizzare solamente batterie ricaricabili idonee per ricari-
che rapide.
