3.5.1 Set value (Ir)

If the electronic motor starter diagnoses a fault, it will signal it by setting the
diagnostic bit (input byte 0, bit 4, DIAG). This message will be triggered by
any of the following fault causes:

Internal device fault
•
Missing 24 V DC (U
supply voltage is present
Bit array Ir (input byte 1, bit 0, bit 1, bit 2, bit 3) is used to represent the
electronic motor starter's overload release value. This value can be set either
directly on the electronic motor starter or via SmartWire-DT by using an
acyclical object. The bit array's value will indicate the overload release's
absolute current value, which will vary based on the corresponding electronic
motor starter's current range.
The following table shows the values that bit array Ir can have and the
current ranges they represent:
