Potentiometer und Lautsprecher

7.1 Gesamtlautstärke
Die Gesamtlautstärke kann mit CV
200 im Bereich von 1...63 einge-
stellt werden. (Wert bei Ausliefe-
rung = 32)
7.2 Lautstärkeregelung mit Poti
Bei Verwendung eines externen
Potentiometers muss in CV 200,
255 programmiert werden um
das Potentiometer zu aktivieren.

7.3 Potiaktivierung im Analogbetrieb

(ab Version 2.40)
Zusätzlich zur Potiaktivierung im
Digitalbetrieb kann das Poti im
Analogbetrieb genutzt werden.
Schließen Sie die Potiplatine (Art.
Nr. 8242010) an den Decoder
an und stellen Sie die Lautstärke
größer als den Mittelwert ein. Wenn
Sie die Spannung hochregeln, bis
das Geräusch ertönt, erkennt die
Elektronik das Poti und program-
miert die CV 200 um auf 255. Dabei
führt die Elektronik einen Reset aus.
Jetzt können Sie die Lautstärke mit
dem Poti regeln. Die Deaktivierung
erfolgt nur durch Programmierung!
7. Loudspeaker + ext. volume control
7.1 Total volume
The total volume of the sound is set
in CV 200, range 1...63.
(The factory setting is "32".)
7.2 External volume control
The total volume may be controlled
by an external potentiometer. CV
200 must be set to "255" to activate
the external volume control.
7.3 Using the external volume control
in analog operation (V2.40)
The manual volume control may be
activated easily in analog operation.
Connect the volume control board
(Item Nr.: 8242010) to the eMO-
TION XLS Decoder and adjust the
volume to more than half volume.
If you increase the track voltage
until the sound starts, the eMO-
TION XLS Decoder will recognize
the external volume control and
subsequently will program CV
200 to 255. Thereafter a reset
will take place and your external
volume control will be activated.
Deactivation may be achieved
by programming only.
