Cappuccino attachment
The espresso flows under pressure through the tap into the
milk and froths up the latter in the process.
Espresso attachment
The espresso flows under pressure from two openings inside
the device and subsequently via the riser into the jug.
BEFORE USING FOR FIRST TIME
• To remove any production residues that may be present, please clean the device before using for
the first time with hot water, an appropriate cleaning agent and a soft cloth.
• When doing so, please unscrew the jug from the reservoir. Hold the reservoir securely, and then
turn the jug in an anti-clockwise direction. When the following marker point of the jug 0 is situated
vertically opposite that for "Open"
• Unscrew the espresso- / cappuccino attachment from the jug (Fig. 2).
• Remove the filter funnel from the reservoir (Fig. 3)
• Remove the sealing ring and the filter cartridge from the filter funnel.
• Clean the device parts as described and subsequently ensure they are thoroughly dried.
• Subsequently put the device parts together again. When screwing back the reservoir with the jug
in a clockwise direction, be careful to ensure that the marker point
opposite that for "Closed" .
OPERATING THE DEVICE
Please always remember that the espresso maker operates under pressure. Always check that the
device parts are all correctly assembled and that the filter cartridges and pressure valve in the
reservoir are not blocked at all.
