If not already in use, for additional protection it is

recommended to install a residual current device
(RCD) with a rated residual operating current not
exceeding 30 mA in the electrical circuit of your
bathroom. Ask your plumber for advice.
Never cover the appliance, for example with a

towel.
The appliance can become very hot. Never leave

your hair between the ceramic plates for more
than a few seconds.
The outer surface of the appliance may get hot
█
when used for long periods. In this case do not
touch with your hands and allow it to cool.
Do not allow the hot styling plates to come into
█
contact with your face, neck or head.
Unplug the appliance after use. Do not disconnect
█
the plug by pulling on the cord. Place the appli-
ance on a heat resistant surface and allow it to
cool.
Never use the appliance if it or the power cord is
█
visibly damaged.
