6.7 Raising vehicle on wheel-free scissor
lift
DANGER – Risk of vehicle falling or tilting!
Risk of (fatal) injury on lifting (or raising) the
wheel-free scissor lift.
¶
Make sure the vehicle is properly positioned
over the wheel-free scissor lift.
¶
Make sure there is no-one in the vehicle or
in the area of the lifting platform.
¶
Keep away from the lifting platform.
¶
Observe the lifting platform and vehicle.
1. Set the mode selector switch to "2 Wheel-free
scissor lift".
2. Keep the "Lift" button (o) pressed.
 The wheel-free scissor lift moves upwards for as
long as the button is pressed.
3. Raise the wheel-free scissor lift slightly and then
stop.
 There is still a gap between the wheel-free scis-
sor lift and the underside of the vehicle.
4. Pull out the wheel-free scissor lift extensions and
position them under the vehicle jacking points.
5. Position polymer rests under the vehicle jacking
points.
6. Raise the wheel-free scissor lift further until the
vehicle is lifted.

Make sure both sides of the vehicle are raised
evenly.
7. Raise the wheel-free scissor lift with the vehicle to
the end position and then release the button.

During work on vehicle

DANGER – Risk of vehicle falling or tilting!
Risk of (fatal) injury whilst using lifting platform.
¶
Do not walk under the vehicle if it is not
firmly positioned on the runways or the
wheel-free scissor lift.
¶
Avoid subjecting the vehicle to severe
vibration.
¶
Never cause the vehicle or lifting platform
to vibrate.
¶
Always use safety devices if heavy
components (e.g. engine, transmission) are
being removed or attached. Fit the safety
devices to reach towards the vehicle rather
than lowering the vehicle onto the safety
devices.

6.9 Lowering wheel-free scissor lift

Risk of (fatal) injury on lowering the wheel-free
scissor lift and the vehicle.
¶
Make sure there is no-one in the vehicle or
in the area of the lifting platform.
¶
Observe the lifting platform and vehicle.
¶
Keep away from the lifting platform.
DANGER – Risk of crushing when lowering
wheel-free scissor lift!
Risk of (fatal) injury on lowering the wheel-free
scissor lift.
¶
Make sure there is no-one in the area of the
lifting platform.
¶
Keep away from the lifting platform.
1. Remove all non-secured tools and other objects from
the vehicle and the lifting platform.
2. Set the mode selector switch to "2 Wheel-free
scissor lift".
3. Keep the "Lower" button (u) pressed.
 The wheel-free scissor lift moves downwards for
as long as the button is pressed.

Make sure both sides of the vehicle are lowered
evenly.
4. Lower the wheel-free scissor lift until the vehicle is
resting on the runway again.
5. Take out the polymer rests.
6. Insert the wheel-free scissor lift extensions.
7. Fully lower the wheel-free scissor lift and then
release the button.
