This turbo nozzle has been especially designed
for optimum cleaning of rugs and carpets with
poles of max. 1
cm.
1
2
The rotating brush effortlessly picks up small
threads, hairs, fluff and more difficult to vacuum
particles.
Good in-depth cleaning is guaranteed with the
turbo nozzle.
For hard floors (parquet, tiles, etc.) you can also
use this turbo nozzle.
For large surfaces, however, we advise you to
use the nozzle provided with your vacuum
cleaner.
You can also purchase a special hard floor
nozzle, if you wish. Such a special hard floor
nozzle is available as an extra accessory under
type nº. HR 6943.
Important
• It is not advisable to use the turbo
nozzle
- on very deep-pole carpets (deeper
than 1
1
cm);
2
- for vacuuming large objects (e.g.
paper clips, buttons, nails);
- on wet floors.
• Never leave children and/or animals
unattended while the turbo nozzle is
active.
Touching the rotating brush may cause
injury.
• Before cleaning the turbo nozzle always
remove the mains plug from the wall
socket.
• When using the turbo nozzle always
apply maximum suction power from
your vacuum cleaner.
How to use
- Remove the normal nozzle from your vacuum
cleaner and place the turbo nozzle. For reliable
connection rotate the tube a little to the left and
to the right while inserting (fig. 1).
- Insert the mains plug into the wall socket and (if
your vacuum cleaner has electronic suction
power control) select maximum suction power.
Ensure that the slide on the hand grip is closed.
- On the turbo nozzle you can see a slide for
adjustment to the type of carpet.
For smooth carpet or hard floors: to the left
(fig. 2)
For deep-pile carpet: to the right (fig. 3).
- Move the turbo nozzle slowly forward and
backward over the carpet.
- Near fringe edges only move the turbo nozzle in
the direction of the arrow (fig. 4). Otherwise the
fringes may be wound around the brush roller
Cleaning
It may happen that your turbo nozzle comes stuck
or becomes less effective.
This may be caused by clogged hairs and threads
around the brush roller or because the turbine has
become blocked.
• Always remove the mains plug from the wall
socket first.
Cleaning the brush roller
- Insert the points of a pair of scissors into the
brush roller slot (fig. 5). Move the scissors to
catch the threads or hairs in the scissors.
- Cut the threads or hairs and remove them
manually or using a small-sized pair of pliers.
Cleaning the turbine
If cleaning the brush roller was not enough, open
the turbo nozzle and clean the inside:
- Unscrew the four screws on the bottom side
(fig. 6).
- Turn the turbo nozzle over and remove the
cover (fig. 7).
- Clean the turbine or other parts (fig. 8).
- Reassemble the turbo nozzle in reverse order.
Ensure that the two sections fit perfectly.
