One of the below mentioned error codes will be displayed if an error occurs during software update.
Error codes for control software 10001621.cry/10001641.cry
Error code Cause and solution
There is no software present in the control unit.
 Insert a SD card with software in the control unit
and turn on the machine.
SD card is not formatted.

The SD card must be formatted in a PC as FAT
and place the files down on the card or use another
SD card.
SD card contains no software.


SD card has more files of the same name.
 See page 19.
The control unit has tried to read more data than is
accessible in the memory.
1. Insert the SD card again.
2. Replace the SD card.
3. Contact MIGATRONIC Service.
Software on the SD card is locked for another type
of control unit.

control unit with another serial number/ bar code.


Check the gas supply

Cancel the gas fault by briefly pressing any key
CAN communication error

Check intermediary cable/plug
The indicator is displayed in case of no circulation
of the cooling liquid due to faulty connection or
choking.

Check that the cooling hoses are correctly
connected, top up the water tank and check
welding hose and branches.
Cancel the cooling fault by briefly pressing any key.
Current sensor error
1. Check the current sensor
2. Contact MIGATRONIC service
Probe voltage
1. Check if welding wire is sticking in the weld pool
2. Contact MIGATRONIC service
Phase/voltage error
1. Check all three phases
2. Check for under-voltage
