Operating the unit with pond filter:

• Close the inlet (suction side) with the cover cap.
• Connect the outlet (pressure side) to the pond filter. (→ Establishing the connections)
Operating the unit with satellite filter, or skimmer and pond filter:
 E
• Connect the inlet (suction side) with the satellite filter or skimmer. (→ Establishing the connections)
• Outlet (pressure side) with pond filter. (→ Establishing the connections)
Install the unit at a dry place
The strainer casings are removed for dry installation. The pump is installed with a holder.
Prerequisite:
• The strainer casings have been removed. (→ Removing the strainer casings)
Adhere to the following conditions for dry installation:

• Only install the unit below water level.
• Swimming pond or pool that may be accessed by people.
– Install the unit at least 2 m away from the water.
• Do not expose the unit to direct sunlight.
• Place the pump in a horizontal position on a suitable base and bolt down.
• Adhere to the maximum permissible ambient temperature. Ensure forced cooling if necessary. (→ Technical data)
How to proceed:

1. Remove the holder fastening screws from the strainer bottom casing and take the holder out of the strainer casing.
2. Insert the rubber feet into the openings on the bottom of the holder.
3. Place the pump back into the holder and fasten with the clamp again.
4. Connect the suction and pressure line. (→ Establishing the connections)

Establishing the connections

An optimum flow rate is achieved with the largest possible hose inside diameter.

• Shorten the stepped hose adapter (adapt it to the hose inside diameter), fit it onto the inlet (suction side), and fasten
using the union nut. Fit the hose (suction side) to this and secure it correctly with a hose clip.
– Hand-tighten the union nut.
• Fit the hose connector or stepped hose adapter to the outlet (pressure side), fasten with the union nut. Fit the hose
(pressure side) to this and secure it correctly with a hose clip.
– Hand-tighten the union nut.
Recommendation for the use of the stepped hose adapter / hose connector:
AquaMax Eco Premium 4000/6000
• Inlet (suction side): Stepped hose adapter 25 to 38 mm (1 to 1½ ")
• Outlet (pressure side): Hose connector 38 mm (1½ ") / alternatively, stepped hose adapter 25 to 38 mm (1 to 1½ ")
AquaMax Eco Premium 8000/10000/12000/16000/20000
• Inlet (suction side): Stepped hose adapter 25 to 38 mm (1 to 1½ ")
• Outlet (pressure side): Hose connector 50 mm (2 ") / alternatively, stepped hose adapter 25 to 38 mm (1 to 1½ ")
