e) Switching on the helicopter

Before switching on the helicopter, ensure that the helicopter and remote control are directly next to each other. This
ensures that the model can connect to the remote control and respond to remote control commands.
Important!
Before switching on the helicopter, ensure that there are no other active 2.4 GHz remote controls (e.g for
another helicopter) in the immediate vicinity.
Switch on the remote control using the on/off switch (see
figure 1, position 6). The LED on the remote control will
start to flash.
Switch on the helicopter immediately afterwards using the
on/off switch (1) on the right-hand side of the chassis.
The switch must be moved to the rear position.
The LED under the canopy (2) will start to flash rapidly.
The LEDs on the helicopter and remote control will stay
constant when the devices are successfully paired.
The model is now ready for take-off.
Important!
The internal stabilization components are calibrated during the pairing process. Do not move or rotate the
helicopter during this time.
If the LED flashes slowly, this indicates that the pairing process failed and you will need to switch on the helicopter
again.
To check whether the remote control is paired with the helicopter, press the light function button (see figure 1, position
5) several times and check that the LED on the model turns on/off with each press.
