b) Checking the rotor blade holders

In order to ensure that the 4 rotor blades (1) are orientated
at an of 180° angle to each other during operation, the
blade holder screws (2) must not be overtightened.
If you tilt the model helicopter by 90°, the rotor blades
should fall downwards as shown in the image above.
Important!
Do not loosen the blade holder screws too
much, otherwise the blade tips will rotate at dif-
ferent heights.
Caution!
Use a suitable screwdriver to tighten the
screws. Ensure that you do not use too much
force, otherwise you may damage the thread/
screws.

c) Checking the centrifugal weight rod

Just like the main rotor blades, the centrifugal weight rod
(1) on the upper rotor must be able to move freely.
Move the centrifugal weight rod up and down at one end
with your hand (see arrow in figure 6) and check that the
ball joint moves freely.
The mechanical parts should move freely, but there must
not be any slackness in the bearing.
