8. PUSHING THE CARONY
For ultimate balance, the Carony must,
when being pushed, have the height ad-
justment set on lowest level.
The brake system is only intended as par-
king brake and can not be used as service
brake. The wheelchair should not be used
in slopes where the person driving it risks
to loose control.
Use the back edge of the wheel unit as tread rail
when tipping the wheelchair over sidewalk edges
etc.
9. CLEANING
Use a moist towel with some washing-up liquid to whipe off dust and dirt from frame and plastic parts.
For upholstery use vacuumcleaner and upholstery cleaner. The seat cushion is detachable and can be
machine washed in 40 degrees C. N.B! Do not dry in tumble-drier or drying cupboard!
10. MAINTENANCE
The system is by normal use maintenance free,
except for adjustment of brakes (see below),
change of tyres and infl ation of tubes.
Normal tyre pressure
Rear wheel: 30 psi or 2,1 bar.
Front wheel: 36 psi or 2,5 bar.
Do not exeed the above tyre pressures
- risk of explosion.
Use protective goggles and ear-muffs
when infl ating the tyres.
11. TIE DOWN
When transported in a vehicle without the Carony
swivel base, the Carony must have the Transport-
ation tie down mounted, in which the securing
belts are fastened.
The Carony Transportation tie down is available
as option.

Anti-tip protection:
To prevent risk for tilting the Carony should have
the Carony Anti-tip protection mounted.
To fold in or remove the Anti-tip protection, pull
out the release button.
