7. FROM VEHICLE TO WHEELCHAIR

1. PREPARE:
Place the wheelchair wheel unit by
the passenger doorway.
Mount the legrests. Turn out the seat
until it locks in its outer position.
Release

4. SLIDE THE SEAT:
Release the seat by pressing down
the release lever. Take care when
sliding inside that the user does not
beat the head against the door frame.
5. RELEASE THE
WHEELCHAIR:
Lift the brake lever to release
the wheelchair from the swivel
base.
2. ADJUST THE HEIGHT:
Prepare for docking by adjus-
ting the height of the wheelchair
wheel unit, using the height
adjustment handle.
Latch
Check that the seat is in locked
position on the wheel unit.
When properly locked the latches
will pop out through the holes of the
slide.
6. LOWER THE SEAT:
Adjust the height of the wheelchair to
its lowest position.
This is important for the balance of
the chair.
Fold the height adjustment handle
back in again by fi rst pulling it out
and then folding it in.
3. DOCK:
Connect the wheel unit to the
swivel base and check that the
catch has locked in position.
Pull to check that the units have
connected properly.
Press down the brake lever to
apply the brakes.
