Cleaning
•
Before cleaning the appliance, unplug it and let it cool down.
•
Protect the device from humidity. Never immerse it in water, and do not clean it
with dripping-wet cloths or other objects.

Do not use aggressive, abrasive or flammable cleaning products to clean the appliance.
•
Clean the ventilation openings regularly. In particular, be sure to remove any dust
from the top of the appliance.
•
Regularly remove dust and other dirt from the fireplace, especially the ventilation
openings at the top. Use a dry or slightly moistened cloth for this purpose.
•
To clean the glass panel, it is usually sufficient to use a moistened cloth and dry off
thoroughly afterwards.

You can also use commercially available glass cleaners to clean the glass panel.
However, the glass cleaner must have dried off completely before you switch the
fireplace on again.
Disposal
The packaging material is recyclable. Dispose of the packaging in accordance with
environmental regulations by sending it for recycling.
If you want to dispose of the product itself, please do so in accordance with envi
ronmental regulations. Do not dispose of the product as household waste.
Take it to a public collecting point. Your local authority will be glad to give
you further information. Accessories (e.g. made of plastic, fabric or
small metal parts) may also be disposed of separately as household waste.
Always ensure proper disposal of spent batteries. Batteries can be disposed of in
special containers at outlets selling disposable/rechargeable batteries or at special
public collecting points.
Please ask your local authority where to find the competent collecting centre. This
avoids polluting the environment.
