Possible cause(s)
Low battery power
Scales are overloaded
WARNING!
Risk of death from suffocation!
Keep batteries away from small children and
animals.
If swallowed, seek medical advice immediate-
ly.
Always secure the battery compartment by
screwing the battery cover tight.
When [Lo] appears on the LCD display, replace
the battery in the electronic kitchen scales by
doing the following:
1. Remove the battery cover on the underside of
the unit by loosening the screw and pushing
the tab towards the rating plate (Fig. 6).
2. Remove the battery from the battery com-
partment and dispose of it in accordance with
the applicable regulations (6.2 "Disposal of
battery").
NOTE:
Ensure the lithium battery (CR2032) is inserted
according to the plus and minus poles.
Insert the lithium battery (CR2032) so that
the "+" marking of the battery is visible from
above.
3. Insert a new battery of the same type into the
battery compartment (Fig. 7).
4. Replace the battery cover so that it audibly
clicks into place and tighten the screw (Fig. 8).
