3.6 Using the zero/tare function

The zero/tare function allows you to reset the current measured value to [0] and
measure new weights.
NOTE:
These functions are suitable for the following tasks:
Weighing of food such as sugar or flour, and liquids such as water or milk for

Weighing different ingredients together.

3.7 Zero function (up to 350 g)

1. Lightly press the electronic kitchen scales to switch them on.
2. Place either a container or ingredients on the weighing surface.
3. Press the (ZERO) button to reset the LCD display to [0] (Fig. 4).
NOTE:
A [---] display means the weight is unstable and measurements vary. As soon as
the electronic kitchen scales are reset, the symbol [o] appears on the left and the
display returns to [0] (Fig. 4).
4. Add another ingredient.
