3.8 Tare function (tare weighing function from 350 g)

1. Lightly press the electronic kitchen scales to
switch them on.
2. Place either a container or ingredients on the
weighing surface.
3. Press the (ZERO) button to reset the LCD dis-
play to [0] (Fig. 5).
NOTE:
A [---] display means the weight is unstable
and measurements vary. As soon as the elec-
tronic kitchen scales are reset, the symbol [T]
appears on the top left and the display returns
to [0] (Fig. 5).
4. Add another ingredient.
5. Press the (ZERO) button again. The tare sym-
bol [T] disappears and you can now read the
previous weight plus the newly added weight
from the LCD display (Fig. 5).
6. Press the (ZERO) button again and wait until
the LCD display has subtracted the previous
value, re-displays [0], and the tare symbol [T]
reappears.
7. Add another ingredient.
