2.3 Children and other specific groups of people

There is an increased risk of injury to specific groups of people:
The electronic kitchen scales may be used by children and persons with reduced

physical, sensory or mental abilities or lack of experience and/or knowledge
only if they are supervised or have been instructed in the safe use of electronic
kitchen scales and are aware of the potential hazards:
– Hazard from batteries
– Hazard from loose parts (e.g. loose rubber pads)
– Hazard from splinters in the event of a glass breakage
Do not let children play with the scales.

Keep packaging material away from children. Danger of suffocation!
ƒ
Cleaning and maintenance of the electronic kitchen scales must not be carried

out by unsupervised children and persons with reduced physical, sensory or
mental abilities or lack of experience and/or knowledge.

2.4 How to avoid damage

Incorrect use of the electronic kitchen scales may cause damage to property.
To minimize the risk of damage to property, always observe the following:
Use the electronic kitchen scales indoors only.

Never place the electronic kitchen scales on hot surfaces.

Store the electronic kitchen scales so that they cannot fall into a sink.

Use the electronic kitchen scales on a flat, non-slip surface.

If necessary, use on a pad to prevent damage to the scales base.

Keep to the maximum load weight of 8 kg.
