The unit must only be installed and repaired by an expert.
The installation of the device and its connection to an elec-
tricity supply must comply with the technical and admin-
istrative regulations of the respective country of use (e.g.
EN 1648, VDE 0100, part 721 or IEC 60364-7-721). National
regulations and rules must be followed.
In view of the proximity to a heater, only heat-proof cables
(suitable for at least 100 °C) may be used.
Before connecting or disconnecting cables, please ensure that
the power supply has been disconnected at all poles! Also
disconnect the mains or connector plug to the trailer vehicle
if applicable and disconnect the battery. Switching off at the
control panel is insufficient!

Installation instructions
Intended use
The fan is intended for warm air distribution and ventilation in
caravans and motor homes. It has been developed for fitting
to a Truma heater S 3004 / S 3004 P / S 5004 or S 5004 E (NL).
Other applications are possible subject to prior consultation
with Truma.
Fitting the fan to an installation box

Remove the pre-cut cover on the rear of the installation box.
Screw in or loosen screws (1 – B 3.5 x 19) enough to enable
the mounting brackets of the fan to be fitted. Mount the fan
and tighten screws.
Fitting the fan to an installation box for
two fans
A special installation box for connecting two fans is available
for the S 5004 / S 5004 E (NL) heater. Installation is identical
to that of the version with a single fan.
