Install control panel (9) in a location that is protected from
direct heat radiation, moisture and humidity. Length of the
connector cable (10) 1.5 m or 2.5 m.
If the control panel cannot be flush-mounted, Truma can pro-
vide an on-surface frame (11 – part no. 40000-52600) as an
accessory upon request.
Drill hole with diameter of 55 mm. Guide through the control
panel cable towards the rear and secure the control panel (9)
with 4 screws (12). Then clip on the cover frame (13) and route
cable up to the fan.
The cable must not touch the heater, on the fan or the warm
air duct. Secure the cable properly.
Truma supplies side parts (14) in eight different colours to im-
prove the appearance of the cover frames (13). Please contact
your dealer.

The electrical connection must always be made by
an expert (in accordance with VDE 0100, part 721 or
IEC 60364-7-721 in Germany). The instructions shown here
do not constitute a request to non-experts to make the elec-
trical connection, but serve as additional information for an
expert who is employed to do the work.
Connection to the mains is made using a suitable cable
3 x 1.5 mm² connected to a distribution box.
It is imperative that connection is carried out with care while
observing the correct colours!
An insulating device for providing all-pole insulation
from the mains with contact clearance of at least
3.5 mm must be provided at the vehicle side for carrying
out maintenance and repair work.

Connect the mains cable (21). Fit the insulation casing of the
cable into the strain relief (20). Secure the strain relief with a
screw (23 – 3.5 x 19 mm).
Push the connector of the control panel cable into the multi-
pin connector (18) as far as it will go. Fit the insulation casing
of the cable into the strain relief (20). Secure the strain relief
with a screw (23 – 3.5 x 19 mm).
