8.2 CD oder USB-Speichermedium abspielen

1) Den Player mit der Taste CD ON (26) einschalten

(gedrückt = Ein, ausgerastet = Aus). Auf dem
Display (24) erscheint die Anzeige „NO DISC",

wenn keine CD eingelegt ist.
2) Eine CD mit der Beschriftung nach oben so weit
in den Einzugsschlitz (16) schieben, bis sie auto-
matisch eingezogen wird. Zusätzlich oder alter-
nativ kann ein USB-Speichermedium (z. B. USB-
Stick) mit dem USB-Anschluss (23) verbunden
werden.
Mit der Taste USB bzw. CD (22) kann auf den
USB-Anschluss bzw. das CD-Laufwerk umge-
schaltet werden.
3) Nach dem Einlesen des Datenträgers (CD oder
USB-Speichermedium) befindet sich der Player
im Stoppmodus. Das Display zeigt im Stoppmo-
dus folgende Informationen an:
– bei einer CD ohne MP3-Dateien z. B.:

4) Mit der Taste PLAY/ PAUSE (20) die Wiedergabe
des ersten Titels starten. Zum Anwählen eines
anderen Titels siehe Kapitel 8.3.
5) Die gewünschte Lautstärke mit dem Regler
VOLUME (28) einstellen.
6) Während des Abspielens ist in der oberen Dis-
playzeile das Wiedergabesymbol
det. Die untere Zeile zeigt die Nummer (TR ...)
des laufenden Titels, die bereits ver strichene Ab -

8.2 Replaying a CD or a USB storage medium
1) Switch on the player with the button CD ON (26)
[pressed = ON, disengaged = OFF]. The display
(24) will show "NO DISC" if no CD has been
inserted.
2) Slide a CD with the lettering facing upwards so
far into the slot (16) until it is automatically pulled
in. Additionally or alternatively, the USB port (23)
will allow connection of a USB storage medium
(e. g. USB memory stick).
Use the button USB or CD (22) to switch to the
USB connection or the CD player mechanism.
3) After reading in the data carrier (CD or USB stor-
age medium), the player is set to stop. The dis-
play will show the following information:
– for a CD without MP3 files, e. g.:

4) Start the replay of the first title with the button
PLAY/PAUSE (20). To select another title see
chapter 8.3.
5) Adjust the desired volume with the VOLUME
control (28).
6) While replaying, the replay symbol
in the upper line of the display. The lower line will

Bei MP3-Dateien erscheint zusätzlich durch -
laufend in der oberen Zeile der Name des Titels
(Title: ...), des Interpreten (Artist: ...) und des
Albums (Album: ...) an. Der Dateiname (File-...)
wird nur einmal nach dem Starten der Wieder-
gabe angezeigt. Fehlt eine Angabe, zeigt das
Display z. B. „Title : Unknown" oder „Artist : None".
Durch Drücken der Taste DISPLAY (31) auf der
Fernbedienung können bei MP3-Dateien in der
unteren Displayzeile verschiedene Informationen
angezeigt werden:
1. Tastendruck
Anzeige des Ordnernamens
2. Tastendruck
Anzeige des Dateinamens
3. Tastendruck
Anzeige der Anzahl der Ordner und der Titel
4. Tastendruck
Zurückschalten auf die Grundeinstellung
(Titelnummer und gespielte Zeit des Titels)
7) Mit der Taste PLAY/ PAUSE kann zwischen Wie-
dergabe und Pause gewechselt werden. Im Pau-
senmodus ist das Pausensymbol
und die Zeitangabe blinkt.
8) Zum Auswerfen der CD die Taste EJECT (21)
drücken. Das Display zeigt „EJECT", die CD wird
herausgefahren und kann entnommen werden.
Wird die CD nicht aus dem Einzugsschlitz ge -
nommen, zieht der Player sie nach ca. 10 Sekun-
den wieder automatisch ein.
8.3 Titelanwahl

8.3.1 Direktwahl der Titelnummer
Mit den Zifferntasten (29) der Fernbedienung lässt
sich ein Titel durch Eingabe seiner Nummer direkt

of the title and "CD" (for a CD without MP3 files),
"MP3" (for an MP3 CD) or "USB" (for a USB stor-
age medium).
For MP3 files, the name of the title (Title: ...),
of the artist (Artist: ...) and of the album (Album: ...)
will additionally scroll across the upper line. The
file name (File-...) will only be shown once after
starting the replay. If an information is missing,
the display will show e. g. "Title: Unknown" or
"Artist: None". When the button DISPLAY (31) is
pressed on the remote control, various informa-
tion for MP3 files will appear in the lower line of
the display:

7) Use the button PLAY/PAUSE to change between
replay and pause. In the pause mode, the pause
symbol
will be inserted and the time indication
will flash.
8) To eject the CD, press the button EJECT (21).
The display will show "EJECT", the CD will be
ejected and can be removed. However, if it is not
removed from the slot, the player will automati-
cally pull it in again after approx. 10 s.
8.3 Title selection
8.3.1 Direct selection of title number
Use the numerical keys (29) on the remote control

8.3.2 Titel vor- oder zurückspringen
Um einen oder mehrere Titel vor- oder zurückzu-
springen, die Taste UP/CUE bzw. DOWN/REV (19)
kurz drücken.
Taste UP/CUE: zum nächsten Titel springen
Taste DOWN/REV: an den Anfang des gerade lau-
fenden Titels springen und mit jedem weiteren Drü-
cken immer einen Titel weiter zu rück.
Hinweis: Die Tasten DOWN/REV und UP/CUE nur kurz
drücken, sonst erfolgt ein schneller Rück- bzw. Vorlauf.
8.3.3 Alphabetische Suche auf MP3-CDs
1) Auf der Fernbedienung die Taste FIND (34) drü-
cken. Die untere Displayzeile zeigt „A–" und den
ersten Titel, dessen Dateiname mit dem Buch-
staben A beginnt, die obere Displayzeile zeigt die
Titelnummer.
2) Mit der Taste UP/CUE [vorwärts laufend] oder
eingeblendet
DOWN/REV [rückwärts laufend] (19) den Buch-
staben wählen, mit dem der Dateiname des ge -
suchten Titels beginnt. Hierbei können auch die
Ziffern 0 – 9 gewählt werden. Buchstaben und
Ziffern, mit denen kein Titel beginnt, sind durch
„None" gekennzeichnet.
3) Um den Titel zu starten die Taste PLAY/PAUSE
(20) drücken.
Hinweis: Für USB-Speichermedien kann die alphabeti-
sche Suche nicht genutzt werden.
8.3.4 Schnelle Titelanwahl bei MP3-Dateien
Bei Datenträgern mit MP3-Dateien lassen sich wäh-
rend der Wiedergabe und im Pausenmodus durch

8.3.2 Skipping titles in forward / reverse direction
To skip one or several titles in forward or reverse
direction, shortly press the button UP/CUE or
DOWN/REV (19).
button UP/CUE: skip to the next title
button DOWN/REV: skip to the beginning of the title
currently playing; each time the button is pressed,
you will go back another title
Note: Only press the buttons DOWN/REV and UP/CUE
shortly; otherwise a fast forward/reverse will result.
8.3.3 Alphabetical search on MP3 CDs
1) Press the button FIND (34) on the remote control.
The lower line of the display will show "A–" and
the first title beginning with the letter A; the upper
line of the display will show the title number.
2) With the button UP/CUE [forward] or DOWN/
REV [reverse] (19), select the first letter of the
title searched. The numbers 0 – 9 are also avail-
able. If there are no titles beginning with certain
letters or numbers, these letters or numbers are
marked by "None".
3) To start the title, press the button PLAY/PAUSE
(20).
Note: The alphabetical search is not available for USB
storage media.
8.3.4 Fast title selection for MP3 files
To scroll through the titles of data carriers with MP3
files, keep one of the buttons FOLDER SKIP (18)
pressed during the replay or in the pause mode (left
button: reverse, right button: forward). Release the
button when the desired title is reached.
