Care and maintenance
– Always pull out the mains plug before carrying out
any servicing or maintenance work.
– Check the rubber lip for wear after use on hard
surfaces. Push out the damaged lip sideways
and slide in a new one, ensuring that the corruga-
ted side is on the outside.
– The best method of cleaning a blocked spray
nozzle is either by blowing air through it or flus-
hing it with water from the front.
– A defective seal will reduce the suction power.
Replace the seal as required.
– Do not damage the diaphragm in the water tank,
otherwise the dirty water and the fresh water will
mix. Replace as required.
– Clean the lint filter in the unit and the suction filter
in the water outlet of the tank as required.
Safety instructions
• The electrical components may only be checked
by the authorized customer service.
• The unit may only be operated when connected to
an earthed socket which is fused with a residual-
current-operated circuit-breaker (residual current
30 mA). (Protection from electric shock).
• Never vacuum up explosive liquids such as pe-
trol, paint thinners, heating oil, etc. or undiluted
acids. Explosive vapours may be produced or the
materials used in the unit may be damaged.
• The unit is not suitable for vacuuming up dust
which is detrimental to health
• Ensure that the mains connection cable has not
been run over, crushed, dragged or damaged in
any other way.
• When filled, do not store or use verticaly.

Only accessories and spare parts, which have been
approved by the manufacturer, may used. Original
accessories and spare parts guarantee that the ap-
pliance can be operated safely and without any bre-
akdowns.
Guarantee
The terms of guarantee issued by our appropriate
marketing company are valid in every country. We
shall repair free of charge any defects occurring
during the guarantee period provided the cause is
faulty material or a manufacturing error. If you wish
to make a claim under the guarantee please contact
your dealer or nearest authorized customer service
centre and please provide your receipt.
We do not assume liability for damages caused by
improper handling of the unit or non-compliance with
the operating instructions.
Packaging material
Please do not throw the packaging into the house-
hold waste.
Take any items of packaging to the appropriate col-
lection points for recycling.
