3.2 Moisture and humidity

Moisture and humidity or a tropical climate are to be avoided. When the
connection cable is properly connected to the force transducer/charge
amplifier, the CMC force measurement chain has degree of protection IP65
per EN 60529.

3.3 Deposits

Dust, dirt and other foreign matter must not be allowed to accumulate
sufficiently to divert some of the measuring force onto the housing, thus
invalidating the measured value (force shunt).
